5 Exciting Things to do in the Conejo Valley

Where can you live and surf in the morning, ski in the evening, and enjoy life to the fullest every second in between? The Conejo Valley, that’s where!

Whether you’ve called the Conejo Valley home for years, or you’re visiting for the first time, this area is an adventurer’s dream, a foodie’s paradise, and a shopper’s delight.

The next time you’re looking for weekend plans, try out any one of these things to do, see, and explore in the Conejo Valley:

1. Hike a New Trail

All the hiking trails around the Conejo Valley are so amazing! If you’re looking to work up a sweat, try out the Bulldog Loop Trail in Malibu Creek State Park. If you’d rather go on a more relaxed stroll with the family, make the trek to Paradise Falls by hiking along the Mesa, Teepee, and Moonridge Trails in Wildwood Regional Park for some stunning scenery.

2. Take a Swing

Want to spend some time on the back nine? Why not do it while surrounded by the natural beauty of the Conejo Valley! You can choose between Westlake Village golf courses, Thousand Oaks golf courses, and several other destinations including the stunning Lake Lindero Country Club and Camarillo Springs Golf Course.

3. Catch A Show

Live music, thoughtful speakers, and exciting performances are coming to a stage near you! Check out the Civics Arts Plaza, located in the Thousand Oaks area right across from the beautiful Gardens of the World. You can check out their website here to see all their upcoming shows.

4. Have A Sip (or Two)

Find your new favorite wine at one of the area’s many fantastic wineries! A few of the local favorites include DeLiese Cellars, Sunland Vintage Winery and Tasting Room, and Giessinger Winery. If you’re here in June, keep an eye out for the Conejo Valley Food and Wine Festival! It’s one of the area’s most popular events.

5. Get Inspired

You can hit up all of the big-name brands at The Oaks, but if you want an authentic taste of the Conejo Valley’s artistic roots, head over to Whizin Market Square in Agoura Hills. You’ll find great food, home décor, clothing, and more – all created by locals!
