Shoot some hoops or join up with tennis players and pickleballers at Tierra Rejada Park for an afternoon of fun.

Pack up the kids and gear for a few competitive hours of soccer or baseball at Arroyo Vista Park. The park has a number of great tennis courts and basketball courts including an indoor gymnasium. The springtime gets really busy with the Moorpark Earth Festival, Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast with Santa.

Independence Day is always a big hit with the Moorpark Fireworks show at Arroyo Vista Park which is held on July 3rd! If  you are lucky enough to own a hillside view home, you’ll have a front row seat for a glorious celebration. Or you can avoid the crowds and party with friends at Tierra Rejada Park for a great view of the fireworks!

Grab your clubs and venture over to one of the three beautiful Moorpark golf courses, Rustic Canyon, Tierra Rejada or Moorpark Country Club. During the week you can hit some practice shots at the best driving range in Ventura County!

My personal favorite is to hop on your bike and head toward Happy Camp Regional Park, Santa Rosa Valley trails, or the orchards along Grimes Canyon for a great ride! If you are really feeling adventurous, you can hook up with the Moorpark Bike Riders for a long-distance excursion!

Of course, you could always just take your towel and sunscreen and wander down to the community pool with a good book!
