Moorpark
Moorpark locals live their life the way they love it best. Their way! You can choose a home in a picturesque hillside suburban community with great neighbors and community parks. Maybe you love horses, ranching, or just country living. Escape the high-density suburbs for a small ranchette or run a large ranching business on multiple acres. It’s an exciting mix, and it’s what makes Moorpark so special!
If you love cooler weather, you’ll enjoy the ocean breezes from the Ventura Coast. Whatever you love, you’re sure to find it in Moorpark—miles of hiking, biking, and horse trails, recreation centers, great restaurants, and beautiful parks.
Homes
The city of Moorpark offers a vast selection of neighborhoods for you to call home!
South Moorpark
Along Tierra Rejada you’ll find the Peach Hill area and the master-planned community of Mountain Meadows. Peach Hill contains the original group of neighborhoods that developed during the 1970’s through the 1980’s. You’ll find a high percentage of smaller, single-story homes. Also, many of the Peach Hill neighborhoods do not have a Homeowner Association or fees.
One developer built Mountain Meadows over two decades. Predominately two-story homes, they all have manicured HOA maintained lawns and multiple community swimming pools.
North Moorpark
Campus Park – North Moorpark’s original community of hillside homes and Moorpark College. Any given night, the sounds of lions, tigers and wild birds of prey fill the skies from Moorpark College’s America’s Teaching Zoo.
Moorpark Highlands – Built between 2006 to 2016, the Highlands contain several neighborhoods by different developers, starting with upscale townhomes to the sprawling large lots and homes of The Pinnacles. Many of the neighborhoods are gated.
Meridian Hills – North Moorpark’s newest community, lies behind security gates, and many homes have views of open space. These upscale homes are large and offer some single-story ranch-style homes. The HOA includes a community room, park, and swimming pool with spa.
Hitch Ranch – watch for this new development coming soon! South of Meridian Hills and continuing toward downtown, it will include 755 residential units and a six-acre park.
